Shan-Yu Su, Ph.D
Dr. Shan-Yu Su received her M.D. and D.M.S. degrees from China Medical University (CMU), Taichung, Taiwan, and has been practicing traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) since 2001. She currently works as an attending physician and the director in Department of TCM Gynecology and Obstetrics of CMUH. At the same time, she is also an associate professor and the chief in the unit of TCM Gynecology and Pediatrics in CMU. Her current clinical interests include treatment of gynecological and obstetric problems by Chinese medicine, and also complementary treatment of Chinese medicine in breast cancer and gynecological cancer patients to reduce the side effects of operation, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy. Currently, she also works for National Union of Chinese Medical Doctors' Association, R.O.C. as one of the project conveners for the project of "Health Insurance Pilot Project of Pregnancy & Childbirth Management using Chinese Medicine". She also participates as an instructor in several continuing education classes related to fertility for TCM practitioners in Taiwan.
